“I am so constipated. What can I do?” This is one of the questions I get asked by many people who are suffering from frequent constipation. The answer is simple, change your diet.
I know what you are thinking. Changing my diet can be difficult, and not everyone can make the changes needed to have an improved digestive system. But I promise, it’s worth it. By changing your diet, you will start seeing an improved digestive system.
Foods that cause constipation aren’t the only foods that need to be eliminated. Some of the most popular foods that cause constipation are also very unhealthy. The refined sugars and processed flour found in sodas, cakes and cookies are terrible for you. They are made with far too much refined sugar, which leads to gas production and bloating. Foods that are high in fiber like fresh fruits, veggies, whole wheat bread and cereals are great for you.
The fiber in these products work to keep your digestive track and avoid constipation. You want to make sure you get as much fiber as possible in your diet. One way to do this is to eat more bulk foods. Bulk foods are foods that come from the ground, such as beans and meat. If you want to help your constipation, try eating more chicken or beef.
By eating more beef and beans, you’ll be getting a lot of fiber out of each serving. And beans, like other whole grains, offer a ton of fiber! Instead of going with canned vegetables, try grilling vegetables. Grill meats, fish, or chicken, and you will be getting a healthy dose of fiber. Make sure you eat plenty of fruits and vegetables as well, for even more fiber!
Another way to treat constipation is to drink water. Don’t drink a lot of soda because this will only exacerbate your condition. Instead, drink lots of pure water! You want to make sure you drink a lot of water because flushing out your system will help your body get rid of all that backed up waste. You want to avoid sugary drinks too, because they will only worsen your constipation condition.
Lastly, eat more fiber-rich vegetables. This is the last step to getting rid of your constipation. You don’t want to go crazy and eating as many vegetables as you can because you will only aggravate your condition. Just eat enough to make sure you are getting the fiber you need. Most veggies have good amounts of fiber in them, so eat them!
It might take a few days, but you will start to feel better. Your poop will be softer, your bowels will move easier, and you will not feel as bloated after each bowel movement. Also, your doctor will tell you how often to go. Sometimes it’s easier for people to go two times a day than it is for someone who is constipated on a normal basis. Just make sure you are getting enough fiber and you will get results!
I am so constipated! I have tried everything! Well, almost everything. I went to my doctor and he told me I needed to add more fiber into my diet. He said I should drink more water, and maybe add some more laxatives!
The laxatives might not work as well, but at least I will still feel the effects of them! After trying those I still had terrible constipation. I was losing weight and my skin was just too dry. I felt like I would never be able to get pregnant, and I couldn’t focus on anything else. I felt like I would never get better.
After talking with my doctor I decided to go out and find a natural way to get rid of my constipation. I knew I needed to add more fiber to my diet, and I also needed to drink more water. I also wanted to make sure I was drinking enough water to hydrate myself and flush all the toxins out of my body. I stumbled upon a great colon cleansing system that changed my life!
I now go to the store about once every few weeks to buy the right supplement for my needs. I can tell my husband that I am not having any constipation problems because I see clear signs of toxins leaving my body. I feel great, I am no longer bloated, and I don’t have any more accidents in the house! I definitely recommend a colon cleanse to anyone who suffers from constant constipation, it really works!
